Little Bevan Star is a concise collection of silk childrenswear for special occasions, which reflects the same quality of fabric and finish as seen in our renowned couture designs.
All the outfits are in pure silk dupion, some dresses have our signature delicate silk organza overskirts and apart from silk shirts, all are fully lined with a silky smooth lining. They are designed by us at Little Bevan and all are made at our workshops with much care and happiness. We make a separate size for each individual age to ensure a neat fit, and, with our couture experience, we have perfected the designs to give a recognisable high quality finish. We offer baby sizes 3-18mths, and boys and girls from 2-12yrs. It is easy to select standard sizes using our size charts. These give a neat fit on the day since you can choose from individual sizes available across our whole age range from babies up to 12 years. However, if you prefer, all these Little Bevan Star styles can be ‘made-to-measure’ for a personalised fit. You can customise your order with a choice of coloured silk sashes and accessories for girls and matching coloured separates for boys. You can see our irresistible Little Bevan colour palette by selecting Colour Choices from the menu on the left; and you can order fabric swatches to be sent out before confirming your decision by selecting Request Swatches. Ivory comes in two options: 'ivory smooth' is a close, tight weave; and 'ivory slub' is like all the other colours, with the typical slubbed texture of natural silk. The Little Bevan Star colour range provides a good choice of our most popular coloured silks. However, we may be able to help source a particular colour for you or even use an alternative fabric, if it is not available in our standard range – in which case please contact us to arrange this. Little Bevan Star is also available at our Pimlico boutique where you are welcome to view and try the outfits. We do advise making an appointment especially if you want to come with several children, or on a busy Saturday.
