How To Order
Because the couture service is a very special process, we work closely with you. Unique in our fresh and utterly personal approach, we take care of every detail. Ideally this service starts with a consultation, by appointment, at our Pimlico studio. However, as your needs dictate the order process, if you are unable to come to us, we can discuss everything by phone and email.
We work closely with you for an exclusive design, individually made at our Pimlico studio and offer total flexibility in planning the finer details. We can source particular fabrics and post you colour swatches with an initial design sketch.
You can plan an order as early as you like; in fact the sooner the better, so that we can schedule your order in our workshop timetable for the season, but we recommend actually making the clothes as comfortably close to an event as convenient, in case of any growth spurts! Often we can accommodate very urgent orders, but please enquire with us first to confirm if it is possible. Once an order is confirmed, with a 50% deposit, we can take measurements at the shop or supply you with an easy chart to fill in at home.
We then carefully prepare the clothes to be expertly fitted at our boutique - a dress rehearsal for you and our little client. It's just as easy if the children live outside London or abroad - we can complete the clothes and deliver them to try on at home.
We also stock and make ourselves, a variety of pretty accessories, dolly bags, ballet shoes, buckle shoes, semi-precious jewellery, matching dolls and perfect tights.
All our couture clothes are pressed and packed so that they are easy to transport and shouldn't need any further attention on the day. With every sash for each dress we offer tips to tie a fantastic bow!
Couture appointments at our Pimlico boutique are available Monday to Saturday 10:00-17:00, and occasionally times can be arranged outside normal shop hours for your convenience or to ensure total privacy and discretion.
